FIVE MOON IN MAUI - DAY THREE

Day Three had one big thing on the agenda... and a possible second option if time allowed.  This day was jam packed with adventure.  Check out all of the details from Road to Hana HERE and our time at Haleakalā National Park HERE.  This day was hands down one of our favorites!

DAY TWO

When we finally got back that night, we were greeted with a sweet surprise from the resort after encountering not the most friendly guests at the pool the day before.  They had nothing to do with the the behavior of the guests, but the gesture of local goodies was much appreciated.  We quickly got ready and then walked to Whalers Village for a casual dinner at Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman.

We had a little while to wait so we took the opportunity to walk around Whalers Village since we didn't really check it out on the first night we visited.  Honolulu Cookie Company had a location there so we enjoyed a few samples before stocking up on some treats to bring back home.

Dinner at Monkeypod was perfect for what we needed after a super long day of adventure.  We sat back, relaxed, enjoyed a drink or two and shared some tasty food.  They had a great local draft beer selection which we always appreciate when we travel.

Our server was awesome so we pretty much took his recommendation on what we should order and ended up with pumpkin patch ravioli, kauai shrimp & hamakua mushroom potstickers along with a hand tossed pizza.  It was simple, but tasty and perfect for what we needed that night.  After dinner we walked back to Hyatt and quickly found ourselves fast asleep after such a long day.

DAY ONE
DAY TWO

Although this day was one of our favorites, DAY FOUR had something really special in store as it was our official anniversary... the whole reason for the trip!  After a full day of non-stop adventure, we were really looking forward to all of the relaxing we had planned for the following day.
